With nuclear families and double income on the rise, minimal yet trendy furniture will set the tone for 2018. Colours

Gone are the days when bright flashy colours and chrome finish fittings set the tone for the interiors. The interior design trend predictions of 2018 point towards the emergence of Pastel shades , ombre walls paired with grey tones will be very popular this year.

Metallics

Make your  home decor 2018 ready by using brass or gold metallic fittings . These will replace metallic and brass fittings and a pop of bright colour will be the highlight.

Going Natural

Going raw and rustic will be the biggest trend. Use of natural materials like wood, flamed veneers, natural vegetation paired with dark grey natural stone flooring will be in vogue.

From being used only on tapestry, geometric patterns will progress to being used on walls as well. Along with geometric patterns, clean straight lines, and linear furniture will be trending this year.

Monochromatic toilets and rooms will be seen throughout. Toilets having the same flooring and dado gives a subtle yet elegant feel to the space.

For the mid-end segments large tiles will set the tone for the space to give the space luxurious feel paired along with bright colourful carpets.

The interior design trends that are out include all white, subway-tile kitchen backsplash backgrounds. Kitchens are designed with colorful, handmade ceramic tiles in a variety of colors and sizes, including squares. Tiles are thicker, and more rustic-looking overall.
